The most significant impediment for establishment of an Islamic state in the present age

The most significant impediment for establishment of an Islamic state in the present age has been created by the long presence of western colonial powers in our lands.

When they established their authority in our lands, they replaced our laws with their laws.
They introduced their education system in our lands annihilating ours.

They expelled people who were educated in our education system from government jobs and availed them only for people educated in their education system.

They also occupied our economic system by introducing their organizations and policies. So, western educated people monopolized our economies. Thus western colonial powers were able to create a generation among us who were void of the concept of our civilization, culture and idea.

They were actively cut off from Islam, history of Islam and Islamic tradition as well as from the emotion and intellect of Islam.

And this phenomena is a hindrance to revival of Islam"

~~  Imam Abul A'la Maududi (Rahimahullah)

What can my enemies do to me?

"What can my enemies do to me? I have in my breast both my heaven and my garden. If I travel they are with me, never leaving me. Imprisonment for me is a chance to be alone with my Lord. To be killed is martyrdom and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey"
-Ibn Taymiyyah Rahimahullah

I am a moderate Muslim

I don't pray 5 times a day
only jumuah is enough for me
I don't fast the full thirty
Five is how many I do

Yes I drink
But only in moderation
I don't get drunk or puke up in the loo
Yes I am a moderate Muslim
